Tri-Core Cervical Pillow

New_Tri_Core_Pillow.png

Believe it or not, we spend almost one third of our lives sleeping. Because the need for postural support doesn't end when the day does, cervical pillows play an important role in helping you keep your neck properly aligned and supported while you sleep.

Core Product's Tri-Core Cervical Pillow is valued for its effectiveness in correctly aligning the cervical spine and supporting the neck in its natural position while you sleep to help relieve neck pain, headaches and also reduce airway blockage, which is a major cause of snoring. With its unique, patented design, the trapezoid center cradles your head while your neck is supported by the Tri-Core's two neck lobes, making it suitable for both back and side sleepers. Another benefit of the Tri-Core Pillow is that it is fiber-filled, allowing for more comfort and a shorter break-in period compared to similar cervical pillows that are made with memory foam. All of these benefiits combine to make the Tri-Core Cervical Pillow the highest quality cervical support pillow available for those looking to reap the benefits of  healthy night's sleep night after night.

Balance Disc

The BodySport Balance disc is an inflatable disc that is similar in movement and shape to a fitness ball. It can be used for "active sitting" by placing it on the top of any seat for a dynamic cushion that encourages better posture by activating and strengthening your spinal stabilizing muscles in order to maintain your balance to keep you sitting up straight, not slouching and keeping your lower back muscles from tightening up when sitting for long periods of time. The Balance Disc can also be used to stand or kneel on for balance training and lower extremity strengthening. Features a tactile side to stimulate proprioceptive sensory awareness for improved joint stability and a smooth side to sit on.

Fitness Balls

Fitness balls can be used to strenghten, stretch and tone all major muscle groups while putting minimal stress on your joints. Fitness balls require the body to constantly balance itself  throughout the each exercise, which helps improve coordination, balance, flexibility, core strength and stability all of which are key to long-term, improved spinal health and preventing recurring injuries. All fitness balls come with an easy to follow exercise chart and an air pump.

Cold/Hot Gel Packs

Gel_Pack.jpg

Our gel packs are filled with a non-toxic gel that remains pliable throughout treatment. The advantage of a gel pack over an ice bag is that a gel pack can contour more effectively to the area being treated. Our gel packs are reusable and can be used for both cold and heat therapy.

Cold therapy is best used for acute injuries as well as flare-ups of chronic conditions. Cold therapy works by way of vasoconstriction (constricting blood vessels) in the area of an injury to help decrease pain, inflammation and reduce muscle spasms. Those with impaired sensation to cold, impaired circulation, hypersensitivity or allergies to cold, diabetes and severe cardiac and cardiovascular conditions should consult with their physicians before using cold therapy.

Heat therapy is best used for injuries after the acute phase and chronic conditions and is also beneficial for stiff joints and improving muscular flexibility. Heat therapy works by way of vasodilation (dilating blood vessels) to increase blood flow to the affected area, which helps to accelerate healing at the cellular level. Those with acute injuries, swelling or bruises, diabetes, impaired circulation and severe cardiac and cardiovascular conditions should consult with their physicians before using heat therapy.
