Athlete Performance Program

Performing at Your Best

In the world of auto racing, race car owners put a significant investment into their cars in hopes of victory. So when race day comes, they simply don't put their car on the track and cross their fingers. Each car undergoes meticulous scrutiny from a team of mechanics and pit crew members on a frequent basis to ensure that all aspects of the car are firing on all cylinders to achieve maximum performance!

This same concept can, and should, be applied to athletes as well! As an athlete, you owe it to yourself to ensure that when it comes time for game day or race day, your body is ready to perform at its best.

At Lower Bucks Total Health, we want to see all athletes succeed, perform at their best and minimize their risk for injuries. We think that the best type of injuries for us to manage and treat are the ones that never happen in the first place! We believe that we can help athletes succeed with the help of our Athlete Performance Program!

How Our Program Works

Biomechanics, the study of how the body and its joints move, along with structural management play integral roles in athletic performance and are also culprits for many sports-related injuries. Simply put, our bodies work at their best when they're in the proper alignment. A stable, well-functioning foundation can help you excel on the field and an unstable or dysfunctional foundation, can lead to decreased biomechanical efficiency, pain and increased risk for injuries. Many times though, these factors are overlooked when it comes to evaluating athletes of all ages.

Which of these two are more likely to perform better?
Which is more likely to suffer an injury?
Which do you currently resemble?

Our program assesses for any structural, postural and biomechanical imbalances that may be affecting your performance and predisposing you to injuries. Based on each athlete's findings, we then develop a comprehensive and customized treatment plan consisting of chiropractic care, rehabilitative therapies, specific postural corrective exercises and custom-made orthotics, if needed,  to ensure a sound structural base, maximize your athletic performance and minimize your risk for injuries.

Who Better Than Us?

Dr. Charlie, a former high school and college athlete himself, is very familiar with the needs of athletes looking to achieve peak performance. He has treated numerous athletes of all ages, worked with the Trenton Thunder baseball team and is currently the only chiropractor in Pennsylvania that is part of USA Swimming's Sports Medicine Network. He has also been voted the Bucks County Courier Times' 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2017 "Best of Bucks" Chiropractor!

Our office is one of the best equipped offices in the area featuring chiropractic care, massage therapy, cold laser therapy, electrotherapy, kinesiology taping, ultrasound and active rehabilitation. We accept most insurances and offer affordable cash payment plans for those without insurance.
